Biography. Dr. Knapp is a health economist and health services researcher whose work spans long-term care, aging and gerontology, family caregiving, and the socioeconomic determinants of health. He chairs the Department of Public Health and directs the Dr.P.H. programme at New York Medical College, teaching and mentoring doctoral students and contributing to research and policy on equitable, sustainable health systems.

Aims & scope

An international, multidisciplinary, open-access journal spanning medicine, engineering, education, business, environment and interdisciplinary innovation.

Manuscript preparation

Structured manuscript (title page, abstract, keywords, IMRaD, references), consistent English, tables and figures with captions.

Submission process

Submit a title page, an anonymized manuscript and completed declarations by email or form; you receive a manuscript ID within 48 hours.

Peer-review policy

Editorial screening followed by independent double-blind peer review before any decision.

Ethics & publication ethics

Ethics approval and informed consent for human-subject work; misconduct handled under COPE-aligned publication ethics.

Copyright & open access

Authors retain copyright; articles publish under CC BY 4.0 and are free to read, download and share worldwide.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

AJRI is fully open access. Any applicable APC is confirmed in writing at acceptance; waivers may be considered on request. Authors are never charged to submit or to have a manuscript reviewed.
