Biography. Dr. Kenneth A. Knapp is Chair of the Department of Public Health and Director of the Dr.P.H. Program in the School of Health Sciences and Practice at New York Medical College. A health economist and health services researcher, his work spans long-term care, aging and gerontology, family caregiving, and the socioeconomic determinants of health. He teaches and mentors doctoral students in public health and contributes to research and policy on equitable, sustainable health systems.
