Author Guidelines

Before You Submit

Basic requirements

Originality. The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal.
Author approval. All listed authors have reviewed and approved the submission and meet authorship criteria.
Citations & disclosures. All sources are properly cited; conflicts of interest and funding sources are disclosed.
Ethics. Human-subject research includes ethical approval or exemption and informed-consent statements; animal research follows applicable welfare standards.
Language. Manuscripts are written in clear, grammatical English (American or British, used consistently).

Preparation

Structure

Title page — title, all authors with affiliations, ORCID iDs (if available), and corresponding author contact.
Abstract — up to 250 words; structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions) for research articles.
Keywords — 4 to 6 keywords.
Main text — IMRaD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion) for original research; a logical heading structure for other types.
Declarations — ethics statement, consent, conflicts of interest, funding, data availability, author contributions, acknowledgements.
References — numbered in order of citation (Vancouver style preferred; APA 7 accepted if consistent).
Tables & figures — cited in the text, numbered, each with a descriptive caption.

Formatting

Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) file, A4 or US Letter.
12-pt Times New Roman or 11-pt Arial, double-spaced, 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins.
Continuous line numbers and page numbers.
Figures as separate high-resolution files (PNG/TIFF/JPEG, ≥300 dpi) in addition to placement in text.
For double-blind review: remove author names and identifying information from the manuscript file; include them on the separate title page only.
SI units, standard abbreviations defined at first use, generic drug names.

Final Check

Separate title page with full author details and corresponding author.
Anonymized manuscript file (no author-identifying information).
Abstract and 4–6 keywords included.
All declarations completed: ethics, consent, conflicts, funding, data availability, contributions.
References complete, consistent, and cited in the text.
High-resolution figure files attached; tables editable (not images).
Any use of AI tools disclosed in the manuscript.
